Ashes (again)
The first test of the Ashes finished today. Somehow, they were able to squeak some play in between raindrops, and the Aussies were able to finish England in less than an hour. Australia was able to get the 5 wickets while England scored less than 30 runs. Oh, the humanity! English cricket fans take heart, there’s still 20 more days of cricket left to play in the Ashes. Eli, this is far from over…

Andy,
I want to apologize for my complaint about your Cricket posts. Well, I’m not really apologizing, but thanking you…my Australian friend and I were talking and I thought I’d ask him about the Ashes, since I know he’s such a huge sports fan, well- he was TOTALLY impressed that I, a)knew what the Ashes was/were and that I, b)called them the Ashes. He tried to talk about it with me, but I didn’t know anymore after that, so I told him I had no clue what was going on, but that my friends living in London talk about it. So, thanks for the insight, and sorry for complaining about the Ashes blogs, although I kinda hope you don’t blog about it again.

I’m catching up on a month of posts and i just fell asleep with these Ashes ones. Please focus on writing about Quiz games at pubs. I’m highly interested in that.
